- Salutations.
-
- Are you tired of seeing endless games, screen savers and
- pathetically over-hyped yet cheaply programmed utilities slammed
- on the average public?
-
- Are you tired of finding that even the best programmers are
- treated as "talent for hire"? How even the best coders never see
- their names put on the box?
-
- Do you feel that the new "$10 million" costing "interactive"
- movie games which come out as a 7-cdrom set, with 72 minutes of
- "full motion video" (+12 seconds of game play koded in MS Basic)
- are "the next big thing", or would you rather spend your time
- playing Loderunner on a C-64?
-
- Do you have faith that your dog could dream up better themes then
- most people in the video game industry today?
-
- Do you take the attitude of "if you want something done..."
-
- Are you at least somewhat advanced (you can help code sprite
- movement, pointers, OOP, clean -- well documented code, etc.) in
- C++, C++ for Windows 95 or Asm?
-
- If not, then I deeply apologize for this complete waste of your
- time -- all flames cheerfully ignored!
-
- Well then! If your sitting up in you chair, leaning closer to the
- terminal taping one foot fast, and thinking "gee, there *IS*
- intelligent life in this universe!" then you might be thinking of
- replying to this message.
-
- But see, the problem is -- if you do reply your probably going to
- end up working with a bunch of brilliant individuals like
- yourself, creating the most fun to play software around.
-
- ... I guess there's a down side to everything. =)

- of an environment of despotism (like most), so I hope you like
- getting the credit you deserve!
